In the Stara Drukarnia once again, business and art met in one place. On February 5, 2025, the opening of the exhibition “My Home” by Alicja Bodzioch @albo.studio took place — an event that attracted not only art lovers, but also representatives of the creative, business and academic worlds. The exhibition “My Home” is a unique journey into the world of the artist's imagination — a place where the boundaries between waking and sleeping are fluid, and reality takes on surreal shapes.
This evening, the space Stara Drukarnia was filled with energy, talks about art and admiration for the works of Alicja Bodzioch @albo.studio. The event gathered wide range of guests, who had the opportunity to talk to the artist in person and discover the inspirations behind her work.
The unique atmosphere of the vernissage was completed protrusion Anna Krysztofiak, multi-instrumentalist associated with the Łódź Philharmonic. Her music, combining the sounds of old instruments and oriental inspirations, created a mesmerizing aura that perfectly harmonized with the surreal works presented at the exhibition, during the vernissage.
Individual exhibition of Alicja Bodzioch @albo.studio is the result of her victory in the competition Rejwach, which took place during the festival Ravekjavik. Stara Drukarnia supports young artists and promotes their art, and the prize in the form of an exhibition in this unique space became an opportunity for the artist to present her work to a wider audience. Moreover, all the graphics (apart from the competition work) presented at the opening of “MY HOUSE” were created specifically for this event.
Alicja Bodzioch is an illustrator and graphic designer who balances her art on the border of the world Mythology and Reality, Dream and Awakening. Her work is characterized by saturated colors, distorted, dreamlike forms and unusual symbolism, which invites the viewer to plunge into the world of her imagination.
Exhibition title “MY HOUSE” refers not only to the physical place, but above all to the emotions, memories and associations that it awakens in us. The works presented in the exhibition are an attempt to capture fleeting moments from childhood — those that will remain forever in memory, but become distorted over the years.

Although he does not grasp the brush, his presence is an integral part of Alice's artistic everyday life. Jako the harshest critic, Marvel watches over every piece of work, ensuring that nothing will be finished without a proper dose of canine acceptance.
Marvel knows no compromises. Thanks to him, Alice never stops at the first better solution, and the surreal images they create together acquire a unique, canine sensibility. Marvel is not only a devoted friend, but also a co-author who brings something unique to each work.
Opening of “MY HOUSE” by Alicja Bodzioch @albo.studio showed how unique events can take place in a space that functions as a business center in Łódź on a daily basis. We highly value the organization of the vernissage in our office building, supporting the young talents of the Łódź art scene.
